At the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, which took place in Dubai from April 28 to May 1, the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) accelerated Saudi Arabia tourism growth by securing 14 key MoUs with leading global travel and hospitality partners. In addition to these strategic agreements, STA facilitated 52 additional partnerships between Saudi entities and international tourism stakeholders, reinforcing its commitment to expanding the kingdom’s tourism offerings.
Expanding Hospitality and Travel Tech: Saudi's Multi-Channel Strategy
Saudi Arabia is undergoing a massive transformation in its tourism sector, fueled by the ambitious $800 billion Vision 2030 strategy aimed at diversifying its economy. The nation has made significant progress, achieving a record-breaking 116 million visitors in 2024, a clear indicator of its growing appeal among international travelers.
Saudi Arabia tourism growth hinges on strong partnerships with global industry leaders. Among the MoUs signed were agreements with Accor, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Radisson Hotel Group, bolstering Saudi’s hospitality infrastructure to accommodate rising demand.
Meanwhile, STA emphasized digital travel accessibility by partnering with Booking.com, Hopper, Ticombo, and ViaKonnect, ensuring that travelers can seamlessly plan, book, and explore Saudi destinations.
Further collaborations with mobility service Careem, premium airport service Altanfeethi, and tourism experience providers like SEVEN Experience, Localbh, and Rayna Tours indicate a multi-layered approach—integrating infrastructure, accessibility, and immersive experiences to elevate the visitor journey.

Saudi Land Pavilion Draws 46,000 Visitors with Immersive Experiences
During the event, STA showcased the Kingdom’s diverse offerings through the immersive 'Saudi Land' Pavilion, which attracted an impressive 46,000 visitors at ATM 2025.
The exhibit featured engaging activations spotlighting Saudi’s summer destinations, including Aseer, Al Baha, Soudah, and Taif—offering tourists a mix of coastal escapes and cool mountainous retreats. A tunnel installation emphasized contrasts between beach getaways and high-altitude adventures, while cultural heritage corners brought Saudi traditions to life with live Bisht weaving and traditional music performances.
To further highlight Saudi’s evolving tourism landscape, the pavilion previewed upcoming global events hosted in the kingdom, including the Esports World Cup and preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2034, positioning Saudi Arabia as a dynamic tourism and entertainment hub.
Strengthening Regional Engagement: Saudi Focuses on APAC Expansion
Beyond traditional tourism markets, Saudi Arabia is strategically expanding its reach across Asia-Pacific (APAC), with a sharp focus on China and India.
During ATM 2025, STA’s President of APAC, Alhasan Aldabbagh, joined the APAC Market Impact panel, discussing Saudi’s initiatives to attract more visitors from these key regions. Strategies include targeted digital campaigns, enhanced religious tourism offerings, and optimized travel infrastructure—ensuring Saudi Arabia’s tourism experience is tailored for APAC audiences.
Saudi’s efforts to engage regional tourism stakeholders were also highlighted during high-level meetings between Fahd Hamidaddin, CEO of STA, and Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism, reinforcing a commitment to cross-market collaboration.
